We’ve Got Your Back

On a Sunday afternoon my daughters dog had a seizure out of nowhere. I called every place around me and they all kept saying they had a 4+ hour wait. Then she had a second seizure. And I was desperate. I started looking a bit further out. I called here and they were amazing. They told me to come right up. I got there and within two minutes of parking someone came out to get her. They called me and told me the options I had and were really helpful. The dr and the staff were all so nice. For an emergency vet the cost of the visit and the med was VERY reasonable. I thought it would be a lot more. I am so thankful to have found this place and I would definitely use them again if we have a problem when our vet isn’t open. Roxy, my daughter and myself can’t thank y’all enough!

I co-direct a 501(c)(3) reptile rescue and we brought in a bearded dragon that was found outside with a severe rectal prolapse. He had been outside for awhile and some of the tissue appeared necrotic – we honestly didn’t there was much hope for this little guy. Luckily, the vet told us that she had seen worse prolapse cases recover before and encouraged us to give him a shot. She performed surgery on him right away and we took him home the next day. He has recovered wonderfully and is such a special dragon! We’re so glad we brought him that night.

We’re all the way in Wilmington but our regular vet referred us here when he was worried about our bunny Otto having a possible lockage. Everyone was so patient and kind and treated him (and us) wonderfully! The staff does a great job maintaining a calm, low-key and straightforward demeanor and really put us at ease while giving us plenty of information and good advice. You couldn’t ask for more compassionate care during such a stressful moment. And most importantly, Otto is back home with his sister Lucy now and feeling great!

They are a smart and talented group of doctors and nurses that care about their role in our families and guide us when we can’t think straight. I have had several experiences where I needed them for my pets and I’m always impressed. You hope you never need them but when you do it’s sure comforting to me that they are there.

We have a regular vet who we adore (Dr Regina at Purr & Bark), but in an emergency, this is where we take our pets. They have saved our pets from certain death on several occasions. They are always open, they always answer the phone, and we’ve had nothing but positive experiences.

Abby

I do wildlife rescue, and they take in animals for me and other rescuers at all hours! Their initial care is outstanding, and they do it asa free community service! I have gotten dozens of animals they treated and they have saved many lives! I cannot say enough good things about them.
